After skipping two days of practice, Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth returned to practice field from treatment on his left knee.
Haynesworth said that the injection he received insert fluid in the knee was a procedure which has become routine for him in recent years to help fight the wear and tear of training camp. However, some still doubt whether the injection was related to Haynesworth's knee problems, and his absence was buzz-worthy news around the Redskins. Haynesworth, the two-time All-Pro defensive tackle, was offered by the Redskins the chance of wearng redskins jersey with a contract that includes an NFL-record $41 million in guaranteed money.
Coach Jim Zorn believed that the knee issue wasn’t serious and should not affect Haynesworth’s ability to play a full 16-game schedule during the regular season.
