Rams QB Bulger will be about for about two weeks with fractured finger

St. Louis Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said Monday that quarterback Marc Bulger will not be available for Friday’s preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. The fractured will probably keep him out for 2 weeks.

The 32-year-old veteran quarterback jammed his pinkie finger of the throwing hand during Monday's practice and X-ray showed that it was fractured. The finger has been taped and will be immobilized for about two weeks. That means Bulger will probably also miss the Aug. 27 game at Cincinnati.

During the time while Bulger is out, the team will likely take Kyle Boller as the starting quarterback. Boller hurt his shoulder last season spent all of the season on injured reserve with the Baltimore Ravens. He was signed by the Rams in April to be Bulger's backup.
